There are three suggested ways to record videos for uploading to Vocat: iPhone/iPad “Camera” app, Android “Camera” then uploaded through the Vocat web interface, or a flip-camera style recording device with the file then transferred to a desktop for uploading to Vocat.

Vocat also can accept embeds from both YouTube and Vimeo (as long as the videos are not password-protected).
