To add a new organization to your Vocat instance, SUPER ADMINISTRATORS will need to have the following information:

  • The name of the organization
  • The subdomain on your Vocat where you want this organization to reside
  • LDAP information for your institution, should you want to tie authentication into your institution's Active Directory database
  • Email addresses for the following identities
    • Messages sent from Vocat
    • Course request destination
    • Support destination


Super Administrators also have the capacity to create and assign to an organization "Semesters," which are buckets in which courses reside.
